Virtual Reality

Virtual Reality is a technology that's growing pretty fast. You put on the VR headset, and VR controllers if you have those, and enter a whole new world. I was already familiar with this technology, as I used Virtual Reality technologies to play games such as VRChat and Job Simulator. Also, in the museum of Besiktas J.K., there was a VR video in which you ride a rollercoaster around Vodafone Park. During intense moments, my body was moving by itself even though I knew that I was just in a game. We also tried VR goggles in the class, we watched a few videos and played some Android games.

This technology has a lot of potential, but it still has a lot of way to go. It's expensive, as in both the VR equipment and the hardware required to run VR games, the movements in the game are still very limited. However, in the near future, I believe it will grow way faster. It can be used in teaching to create virtual classrooms. This would eliminate the need to travel to the school, the uncomfortable environment of the school, the difficulty of creating classroom materials and so on.

Although this game can be great for a virtual teaching environment, it's a bit outdated. There are new promising works like VRChat. However, it can still work since it doesn't require much equipment, or requires a good hardware to run, it can run on pretty much any computer which makes it accessible to everyone. It can be an easy way to socialize.

I lied. I'm a liar. This blog is not all about video games, hip hop and anime. I'm studying English Language Teaching so I figured I might aswell give some of my ideas here.
Here is a very short, experimental podcast on how classroom environment affects learning/teaching.

BROCKHAMPTON

Do you like rap? If you do, have you ever heard of a group named "BROCKHAMPTON"? Well, it's about time you learn about this Houston, Texas based rap group, or as they call themselves, a "boyband".


So, why is this group popping off all of a sudden? The group released 3 albums in just 7 months, which definitely helped in getting their name heard. Is that it? Nope. What makes this group special is the sound they have. It's very unique, and it's something fresh. The beats are amazingly good, which is one of the strongest qualities of BROCKHAMPTON. All group members sound different, and they are versatile, which keeps songs fresh, and doesn't feel like it's repeated at all. But there is something that doesn't get mentioned a lot. The lyrics. They aren't about money, girls or drugs. They are about themselves. They are about what they are, what their dreams are, what they like, their struggles, which makes you feel for them. This creates a bond between the listener and the rappers.
